Roselle knows it isn’t an easy choice to undertake therapy. She recognizes the courage necessary to be open and vulnerable with another person. She works to create a safe and comfortable space to foster confidence as she and her clients work through the process together. No client can experience the same process as they heal, grow and work to live authentically. Roselle fosters connection through an approach that is warm and flexible to best support the client in whatever period they find themselves in.
For over 8 years , she has worked at the high school and junior college levels as a counselor and in private therapy with clients that range from children to adults. Roselle’s clients have sought her out to develop the skills necessary to cope with depression, anxiety, stress, fear, anger, low self-esteem and insecurities, conflict resolution, major life changes and trauma recovery.
Roselle Carballo Briceño completed a Master’s in Psychology of Childhood Adversity from Queen’s University in Belfast, has a Master’s in Humanistic Psychotherapy from the Instituto Universitario Carl Rogers in Mexico and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of North Florida. She has been certified in Humanistic Psychotherapy: Diagnostics and Strategies for Children and obtained a Master Training Certificate in Adverse Childhood Experiences. Roselle is also a practicing EMDR Trained Therapist.
